No. You can sign up and record your first lecture without entering any payment info. Atlas doesn't ask for a card during the beta.
Atlas really is free, with all its features. We'll give you plenty of notice before Pro and Max plans come out.
Atlas sends the audio to its AI provider to create your notes, then deletes the recording stored by Atlas. Atlas does not sell your lectures, notes, or personal information, and does not use your notes to train its models.
Yes, Atlas Free will continue to run through finals, subject to longer queues. Our upcoming Pro and Max plans will get priority access to our servers.
